Faith. Family. Community. Common Sense.
My name is Kenneth Bentley Jr., and I’m running for office because I believe our community deserves leadership that puts people first — not political agendas, not bureaucracy, and not the status quo.
I am a Christian, a husband and father, and a firm believer that every person has value. That belief shapes how I view education, public safety, taxes, and the proper role of government. Public service should reflect integrity, accountability, and respect for the people it represents.
For more than 20 years, this district has been held by one party — often without real competition or meaningful debate. I believe our community deserves a choice, a voice, and a representative who listens. That’s why I’m stepping forward.
Like many parents, I became increasingly concerned as schools and government shifted away from their core responsibilities. Education should focus on reading, math, critical thinking, and strong character development — not political agendas.
I chose a charter school for my daughter because I wanted her education centered on academic excellence and opportunity. Parents deserve options. Schools should serve families, not political trends.
Education should unite us around opportunity — not divide us with labels.
